Daniel Cardenas is a Mexican photojournalist based in Mexico City where he covers topics ranging from social issues to sports and culture. He has covered national and international events such as Formula one, Pan American Games and World Rally Championship.

His work has been published in national and international media such as National Geographic, The Guardian, CNN, The Washington Post, Time Magazine, ESPN, The Atlantic and many others.

He currently works as a freelance, mainly for the International News Agency Anadolu from Türkiye.
